Around 12:44 a.m. on Sunday the Geneva Police Department responded to the report of ‘shots fired’ in the area of 20 N. Wadsworth Street in the city.
Upon arrival it was determined that a 39-year-old male had been shot multiple times. Police say he suffered several non-life threatening gunshot wounds to his leg as result of the incident.
He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where he is being treated for those injuries. No names or identities were released.
However, police say that deputies from the Seneca and Ontario sheriff’s departments, as well as New York State Police and Park Police all assisted at the scene.
No arrests have been made; and the investigation is ongoing.
